We are licensed at the Directed Care Services level and may provide:
- Supervisory Care Services means general supervision, including daily awareness of resident functioning and continuing needs, the ability to intervene in a crisis and assistance in the self-administration of prescribed medications.
- Personal Care Services means assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) that can be performed by persons without professional skills or professional training and includes the coordination or provision of intermittent nursing services and the administration of medications and treatments by a nurse who is licensed pursuant to Title 32, Chapter 15 or as otherwise provided by law; and
- Directed Care Services means programs and services, including personal care services, provided to persons who are incapable of recognizing danger, summoning assistance, expressing need or making basic care decisions.
- Behavior Care means limited behavioral health services, provided to a patient whose primary diagnosis is related to the patient’s need for physical health services that include:
- Assistance with the patient’s psychosocial interactions to manage the patient’s behavior that can be performed by an individual without a professional license or certificate including:
- Direction provided by a behavioral health professional and
- Medications ordered by medical practitioner or behavioral health professional
- Behavioral health services provided by a behavioral health professional on an intermittent basis to address the patient’s significant psychological or behavioral response to an identifiable stressor or stressors
- A manager shall ensure a behavioral health professional or medical practitioner evaluates the resident within 30 calendar days before acceptance of the resident or before the resident begins receiving behavioral care and at least once every six months throughout the duration of the resident’s need for behavioral care. R9-10-812.
- Behavior Care planning as appropriate or necessary to support the resident’s psychosocial interactions to manage individual behaviors.
- Respite Care Services means services provided by a licensed health care institution to persons otherwise cared for in foster homes and in private homes to provide an interval of rest or relief of not more than thirty days to operators of foster homes or to family members.
The goal of these services is to promote a resident's independence, dignity, choice, self-determination, and the resident's highest physical, cognitive, and functional capability.
