Directed/Behavioral Care Services

Services

We are licensed at the Directed Care Services level and may provide:

  • Activity programs that ensure the resident is afforded daily rehabilitative, social and recreational activities customized to the individual needs.

  • Administration of resident's personal funds account not to exceed $500, upon written request by a resident or representative.

  • Food services program and menus are developed in accordance with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Agriculture 2015–2020 8th Edition December 2015, incorporated by reference and on file with the Department and the Office of the Secretary of State and approved by a Registered Dietitian. Therapeutic and other specialized diets are provided when physician ordered.

  • Housekeeping services are provided as indicated by the resident’s service plan.

  • Laundry service is provided or access to washer and dryer as indicated by the resident's service plan.

  • Safety features include smoke detectors that are hard wired, a property alarm system that is monitored by a third party 24/7, a monitored Emergency Alert System, most importantly, a 24-hour awake staff.

  • Transportation - non-wheelchair transportation is provided for facility outings.  Transportation for medical purposes is coordinated through contracted transportation or maybe provided at cost for residents who may not have insurance coverage.

The goal of these services is to promote a resident's independence, dignity, choice, self-determination, and the resident's highest physical, cognitive, and functional capability.
